Oxford Together Stories

In March 2020, Oxford Hub launched Oxford Together, a volunteering programme set up to help Oxford

residents affected by Covid-19. Co-ordinated by Oxford Hub, the Oxford Together programme mobilised

a city-wide response, which combined the scale and resource of Oxford City Council with the agility and

local reach of community organisations, local groups and a network of over 5,000 volunteers.

From April to September 2020, OFS worked in collaboration with Oxford Hub to collect the stories of thirty-two people involved in Oxford Together - volunteers, Oxford Hub staff, Oxford City Council employees, community organisers and recipients of support. These stories were analysed in three discussion sessions with partners from across the county and beyond.

The full collection of stories, learning report, and artistic responses to the stories, can be found here.
