ICON was a collaborative project between OFS and Crisis. It brought Crisis members together with

internationally renowned photographer Rory Carnegie to recreate a series of iconic photographs.

Rory attended Crisis photography classes, working with Crisis members to select images to re-enact.

Professional costume and prop designer Ann Tutt helped to reproduce the setting of each photo, and over 7000 members of the public viewed the finished work in an exhibition in the OFS gallery.  

  

OFS story collectors spoke with eleven participants in ICON, including Crisis members, OFS and Crisis staff, artists, and more. Staff, volunteers and partners then came together to discuss the learning emerging from the stories.
